The White River Valley Players are excited to announce their spring production, “Central Vermont Radio Theater 2025”, an all-original radio-play-style variety show written and performed by talented local community members.
Director Erica Robinson shares that the skits will be fun for all ages and cover a wildly broad and amusing range of topics, from convenience store encounters, mysterious corn cob pipe collectors, and billionaire-driven architecture to dog conversations, Shakespearian pigs, and the first annual Vermont “Car Olympics.” The show includes a few slight suggestive themes, giving it a “PG” rating, as well as some humorous mentions of fake news, bad policy decisions, and big egos that need deflating. For added fun, all sound effects for the radio plays will be produced live on stage alongside the voice actors.
Performances will be at the Rochester School Auditorium on Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17, at 7:30 pm as well as a Sunday matinee, May 18, at 2 pm. Tickets available at the door by “pay what you can” donation.
