The Night Before The Night Before Christmas, 2024
The Players’ beloved holiday season tradition continues! This year, community members of all ages join us to share stories, music, song, and fellowship at the Rochester School Auditorium. Admission is free and we welcome donations to support a worthy local cause. See you there!
Rochester Light and Power
In this musical-comedy premiere, love triangle hijinks meet women's empowerment all set to music in turn-of-the-century rural Vermont. Based on an historical anecdote, the setting is the Rochester House hotel, where four “kept-women” reside. Their men, married businessmen from White River Junction, visit them once a week via the new Peavine Railroad. The hotel is throwing a ball to celebrate the arrival of electric lights, and the mistresses have concocted a plan to turn the tables on their unsuspecting beaus. Will the men see the light? Will the women find their power? Come join us for Rochester Light & Power, the new original musical from the same creative team who brought you Second Chance, Ransom, and The Singing Master.

The Night Before The Night Before Christmas, 2023
The theme for this year’s show is Tales From the Forest: A Community of Trees Tells Its Stories. Original stories are woven into a journey through the forest, with music from the woods and beyond performed by friends and neighbors from the valley and a bit further.

The Singing Master
From the same creative team that brought you Second Chance and Ransom, The Singing Master is an original play with music set in frontier Vermont and inspired by the life and music of Jeremiah Ingalls. Can one man's sins be redeemed by his art?
