The Night Before The Night Before Christmas

An evening of seasonal music and storytelling, poetry, and dance, this event is fast becoming a beloved community tradition. In the rush of the holidays, it’s a time to gather with family and friends for reflection, inspiration, and merriment!

Director Susan Rule has put together an exciting program including musical entertainment by the Blue Moon Quartet (Sue Clarke, Dick Robson, Kep Taylor, and Susan Rule); the Baba Yagas (Justine Calnan, Jake Wildwood, and Tom Christiano); original music by composer/pianist Dorothy Robson; musicians Jane and Steve Eubanks; pianist MaryBeth Deller; and young singers Desmond and Donovan Piccicuto. Storytellers Mindy Branstetter, Hilary Mullins and Ethan Bowen will be joined by poet Danny Dover. New this year, a local Morris Dance troupe will perform a lively traditional English dance.

Free-will donations received at The Night Before the Night Before Christmas will benefit the Federated Church Food Shelf, the Vermont Food Bank, and local families in need. Following the performance, all are invited to enjoy homemade cookies and hot cider in Fellowship Hall.
