The White River Valley Players are happy to announce the cast for their 2026 spring musical, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”, scheduled for performances in the theater at the Hub (formerly Rochester School Auditorium) at 7:30 on May 8 and 9, with a 2:00 matinee on May 10.  Based on the popular comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles Schulz, the Players’ first Broadway-style musical in over 15 years is directed by Jeanie Levitan and produced by Erica Robinson, with musical direction by Rick Smith and choreography by Jillian Sherwin. Poster by Joe Schenkman and set design by Robert Melik Finkle.

The following is the cast list of adults who are loving rehearsals and excited to get to be kids again:
Charlie Brown - Don Crickard (Hancock); Snoopy - Ethan Bowen (Rochester); Lucy - Rebecca Smith (Granville); Linus - Ferron Griffin (Bethel); Schroeder - Rick Smith (Granville); Sally - Erica Robinson (Bethel); Sherman - James Greenleaf (Randolph); Violet - Jen Edmonds (Hancock) and Peppermint Patty - Mary Fratini (Rochester.) Two actual kids are getting in on the fun as well: Jules Griffin of Bethel will play Woodstock and Roewen Deyo of Rochester/Randolph will play Marcy.

Mark your calendars now for a welcome dose of spring tonic as the cast makes magic happen onstage the weekend of May 8, 9, and 10, 2026.
