Come join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang for a fun, silly, and hopeful musical show Mother's Day weekend: May 8, 9, and 10, 2026!

Presented by the White River Valley Players, "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" is based on the popular comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles Schulz and is the Players’ first Broadway-style musical in over 15 years. Performances will be in the Theater at Valley Hub (former Rochester School Auditorium) at 7:30 pm on May 8 and 9, with a 2:00 pm matinee on May 10. The show is directed by Jeanie Levitan and produced by Erica Robinson, with musical direction by Rick Smith and choreography by Jillian Sherwin. Poster by Joe Schenkman and set design by Robert Melik Finkle.

The cast features a group of local adults who have embraced the chance to revisit childhood through these iconic roles: Don Crickard of Hancock as Charlie Brown, Ethan Bowen of Rochester as Snoopy, Rebecca Smith of Granville as Lucy, Ferron Griffin of Bethel as Linus, Rick Smith of Granville as Schroeder, Erica Robinson of Bethel as Sally, James Greenleaf of Randolph as Sherman, and Jen Edmonds of Hancock as Violet. Adding to the fun, two young performers join the cast: Jules Griffin of Bethel as Woodstock and Roewen Deyo of Rochester/Randolph as Marcy.
